All About Us & How We're Doing

Well first off, I am back with Steve. We've been together for 6 months now after 2 years of separation. I feel we both needed to grow up a little bit but now we are extremely happy with the way things are going. We know we're going to get married but not for a while yet. We've set a 1 year minimum of being together before engaged and then at least a year of engagement before the wedding but we know what we want. We rent a small house in Warren. It's small but it works. We're hoping to purchase a foreclosed house sometime next year and work on it while we're still renting until we have the house we want. We also are starting our own business online. It's a resale thrift store but we also offer homemade food made to order just for you as well as focusing on finding little treasures that people were going to throw away. Hence the store name of Simple Treasures Lost and Found. It's taking a while to get it off thew ground but we are working with very limited capital.
Now as for my little man Jacob. He's doing REALLY good. We home school him with the un-schooling method. It's becoming increasing popular. He enjoys it and loves the field trips and hands on things that we do with him. as well as teaching him at his own pace and giving him the added attention he needs in certain areas. He's made plenty of friends in the neigborhood. His 7th birthday is coming up soon and we're still debating if he's going to have a family only party or not yet. I guess it just depends on $$$$ lol.
We got Trey this past March and his the most annoying dog EVER!!! We keep trying with him but he has such dominence issues and territory issues he spends most of his days on a chain ( we tried the caging method, he broke the plastic cage 4 times and I can't afford the metal cages) so now we do the cage method with a leash instead. He does fine as long as he's on his leash or has very little freedom. It's weird.
I got Lucifer a.k.a Lucy when she's behaving the end of May. Absolutly the most adorable cat. I got her at 3 weeks old. Now she thinks she rules the house but that changed when we got Peaches.
Peaches chose us after we got to our new house. She followed us home one day and we decided to keep her. She is the most mellow tempered cat. Her and Trey don't get along to well but after the initial dominence issues between the two girl both cats now get along great :)

Love Always, Nickie
